CAM SCC FINAL

Monday was a big day for the Cam Newton brand. Gatorade, Drakkar and EA Sports all released new videos featuring the Panthers quarterback. The spots were posted, shared, and retweeted, piling up thousands of views.

It was another reminder of Newton’s growing stardom. But it also overshadowed the announcement of his only season-long charity campaign.

After raising more than 25-thousand dollars for his foundation last year, the Super Cam Club is coming back.CAM SCC FINAL

Here’s how it works:

  • Fans pledge a donation for every Newton touchdown — both passing and rushing — this coming season.
  • Pledges per touchdown range between $5 and $250.
  • There are two pledging programs: 1.) “Season Pass – includes every game in 2014, or 2.) “Pick Your Game” – select up to four games.
  • Depending on the size of their donation, fans can receive gifts ranging from autographed pictures to a meet and greet with Newton.

Proceeds from the fundraiser go to the Cam Newton Foundation’s education programs. If you’re interested in “joining the club,” or for more information, click this link.

Did the Super Cam club last season. Got a personalized autographed football from Cam and a tax write off for $10 a TD. All while helping kids from my hometown schools. How can you not do this?
