Just as inactives were coming out for the Panthers’ Thursday night matchup with the Saints, Pro Football Talk dropped a big piece of news.
Per league source, Panthers DE Greg Hardy's trial has been postponed. It had been set for mid-November. It will now happen after season.

A league source later confirmed the report: The jury trial for Panthers defensive end Greg Hardy that had been scheduled for November 17, has been postponed, and it will not happen until after this season.
When the league and team put Hardy on the Commissioners’ Exempt List in September, they were both adamant he would not be eligible to play until his legal situation was resolved. So unless something changes, it’s highly unlikely Hardy will ever play for the Panthers again.
