The Panthers will be without their starting running back and No. 2 receiver for their Sunday night game with the Steelers.RB DeAngelo Williams is inactive for the second straight game. He returned for the first time in a week and a half during Friday’s walkthrough, but the Panthers are being cautious with the 31-year-old.32-year-old Jerricho Cotchery tweaked his hamstring Thursday, an injury that cost the receiver a chance to face the team he played for the last three seasons.Receiver Jason Avant, who also battled a hamstring injury this week, is active. He’ll likely be the Panthers’ No. 2 wideout, with Brenton Bersin and Philly Brown each moving up a spot in the pecking order as well.With Williams out, Jonathan Stewart will start at running back.
