A third straight trip to the postseason by the Carolina Panthers has equaled a third consecutive raise in ticket prices for fans.
According to the team, nearly two-thirds of the seats at Bank of America Stadium will see an increase of $5 to $12. That puts the range for non-premium tickets at $48 to $195.
The Panthers have traditionally raised prices after they've made the playoffs. The hike following the 2013 season was the first in four years.
In season-ticket renewal forms that will be mailed to PSL owners Friday, the Panthers note a third year of stadium renovations. This summer, the makeover will include upgrades to the 500 level and improved Wi-Fi service throughout the stadium.
"The entire Panthers organization wants to express our heartfelt thanks for your unwavering support," team president Danny Morrison wrote in a letter to PSL Owners. "We value the relationship we have with you and with our community, and we pledge our continued commitment to you, both on and off the field."
