Notes
- The offensive line played nearly the entire game for the second straight week. Turner missed two snaps a week after he went out for one in Jacksonville.
- So much for limiting Stewart's plays. He's seen 106 snaps the first two weeks while totaling 40 touches. Whittaker was in for only four plays on offense, the same amount Cameron Artis-Payne saw in Week 1 before he was inactive against the Texans.
- The Panthers used two tight ends 64 percent of the time, which is just a six percent jump from Week 1.
- Even though Cotchery came back after his ankle scare, he was limited to only 11 snaps. The beneficiary was Funchess, who was in for 12 more plays than in Jacksonville.
- Coach Ron Rivera on Friday said if Norwood was active, the hope was he'd get at least 18 snaps. He saw 13 on offense but 19 overall.

Notes
- Despite a busted nose, Coleman didn't miss a snap. His 88 plays were a career high.
- Benwikere, who saw 81 snaps, played 70-plus just twice as a rookie.
- Davis stayed in the entire time and even played some middle linebacker when the Panthers went into nickel.
- Starting for Luke Kuechly, Klein was subbed out of most obvious passing situations. Thompson went from 17 snaps and no stats against the Jaguars to 43 with four tackles versus the Texans.
- Yes, he "did the dirty work" in Week 1, but through two games and 89 snaps, Ealy has no sacks and two tackles. He had just as many costly penalties on the Texans' final drive.
