Less than 48 hours before the start of training camp, Carolina Panthers receiver Stephen Hill was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop.According to a Concord, N.C. police report, Hill was pulled over around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. An officer found two grinders with marijuana residue and a marijuana bowl.A Panthers’ official on Wednesday morning said the team had no comment on the incident.Hill was already heading into camp sitting squarely on the roster bubble. Even though coaches said all the right things about his progress this offseason, he hovered around the sixth receiver spot during spring practices.Hill hasn’t been on an active roster since December 2013. Tuesday’s incident won’t help him in his comeback attempt.
