Tre Boston Sits Out Thanksgiving Practice, Leonard Johnson Upgraded

Thursday's Injury Reports

Carolina Panthers

Did Not Practice

  • S Tre Boston (ankle): Wasn't on the field after he stepped on a teammate's foot late in Wednesday's practice. The Panthers really don't need to be down another key defensive player against the Raiders' potent offense.

  • C Ryan Kalil (shoulder)

  • OT Michael Oher (concussion)

  • DE Mario Addison (foot)

  • LB Luke Kuechly (concussion)

  • CB Zack Sanchez (groin)

  • CB Leonard Johnson (chest): An upgrade from his DNP on Wednesday. He's still struggling with pain in his sternum, rib cage and AC joint. Will join the team when they fly out Friday.

"I want to play," Johnson said, "so if I'm able to play then, I'm hoping to get out and play."

  • LB A.J. Klein (concussion): Still in the protocol, but Panthers are planning to have him at MLB in place of Kuechly.

  • C Gino Gradkowski (knee): Will again fill in for Kalil.

  • S Colin Jones (concussion)

  • OT Donald Hawkins (illness)
