- RB JONATHAN STEWART: It took him just one week of practice to score two touchdowns for the first time since 2009.
- RB FOZZY WHITTAKER: With rookie Darrin Reaves sidelined with a sore knee, took over the role of ‘the guy who looked better than Kenjon Barner.’
- WR BRENTON BERSIN: Two impressive receptions, but his tackle on the ensuing kickoff after his first NFL touchdown should further grow #TheLegendofBrentonBersin.
- LB A.J. KLEIN: Gave fans eager to see him supplant LB Chase Blackburn more ammo with three tackles and an interception while playing just 27 snaps.
- CB ANTOINE CASON: He’s so laid back off the field, it was almost surprising to see him celebrate after his consecutive tackles for a loss.
- RB DEANGELO WILLIAMS: This is through no real fault of his own, but a healthy Stewart should eventually take over the starting job like he did in 2012.
- WR KEALOHA PILARES: Couldn’t afford to miss time, but had to sit out Sunday with an ankle injury.
- WR TAVARRES KING: Limped off after he wasn’t able to hold on to what would have been a good catch, plus Bersin solidified his spot.
- CB JOSH NORMAN: The problem wasn’t that he yapped with WR Dwayne Bowe, but he then didn’t back down from LB Thomas Davis, and he seemed oblivious to Ron Rivera’s anger.
- CB JOSH THOMAS: Had a nice pass break up, but was in for just 13 defensive snaps.

It sad I liked Norman and always rooted for him to get more playing time then every year he does something that makes you say (wut the hell) now I am sure RR has had enough of him and his ability to act like an idiot or become absent minded. So I say to Josh Norman( It was nice knowing you
Bill, do you see any chance the Panthers trade Norman for a late round draft pick? Apparently many other teams are in need of CB depth this year.
