Normally when cornerback Josh Norman and safety Tre Boston are milling around postgame at Bank of America Stadium, fans are asking for their autographs. Roles were reversed Saturday night when they spent a few minutes with one of their soccer heroes.

The giddy pair of Panthers were ushered into the Paris Saint-Germain locker room after the club’s International Championship Cup match against Chelsea. There they met Zlatan Ibrahimovic, one of the biggest and most quotable stars in international soccer.

“I’m trying to convince them to come over to my team, PSG, be my defenders and we will destroy everybody. I’ll play along the front, them two in back. It’s a dream team,” Ibrahimovic said.”It’s nice having a visit from these guys, big athletes. Different sport, but still, they’re competitors. They’re like us, they want to win and destroy, just like me.”
