Cam Newton Squeezes in Visit With Michelle Obama Between OTA Practices

Cam Newton keeps a packed schedule, but his past two days were especially crammed.

On Tuesday morning, the Carolina Panthers' quarterback was on the Bank of America Stadium practice fields for the first of 10 OTA sessions over the next three weeks.

A few hours later, Newton boarded a plane for D.C.

Why?

To hang out with Michelle Obama.

Technically, it was for a couple of shoots with the first lady.

One was for "All in With Cam Newton," his Nickelodeon show that debuts next week. Another was for his new role as a celebrity ambassador for the Partnership for a Healthier America, which Obama serves as an honorary chair.

Once filming wrapped up, Newton flew back to Charlotte, and on Wednesday morning, he was with his teammates for the Panthers' second "voluntary" practice.
