On how this offseason is different than last year’s, including a healthy Cam Newton:
“I forgot all about (Cam) … It just seems like things are a lot more predictable this year. Right when you say that, (it will probably become) unpredictable. But right now we have a pretty good idea at least of who we are and what we can do.”

On the workload he’d like to see RB Jonathan Stewart get this season:
“If you are running the ball well, obviously you are going to feed him. We would like to be able to run the ball when we have to and run the ball when we want to.”

On if he’d like to be a head coach one day:
“Eventually. I try to keep my focus on the task at hand, and right now that’s being the best secondary coach in the National Football League and trying to get my guys to perform at a high level.”

On CB Josh Norman:
“He made a play (Wednesday) that I have never seen in the National Football League. It was almost like the play he made against Cleveland. He laid out in practice and got an outstanding PBU, almost was an interception … (Corey Brown) had the ball in his hand, and Josh just laid out as he did against Cleveland and made a great play. A great play. I haven’t seen a play like that in the National Football League in my 10 years.”
