Josh Norman Fires Back at Odell Beckham Jr. — on Twitter

Super Bowl MVP Von Miller has been on TV a ton since the Broncos beat the Panthers, but Josh Norman may have him beat.

Carolina's talkative cornerback has made multiple rounds on the national TV and radio circuits, including spending the better part of the past three days as a guest on NFL Network, ESPN and FOX Sports.

Each outlet tried to get him to open up about his contract situation and, of course, they couldn't help but attempt to stir up the Odell Beckham Jr. pot.

Example 1:

Example 2.

While Norman didn't throw any sharp jabs, that he refused to put Beckham in his list of top-5 receivers was something that would obviously get back to the Giants' star.

So even if this tweet Beckham posted Friday afternoon didn't mention Norman, it's very likely what the kids call ... a subtweet:

Beckham appeared to subtweet Norman at least a couple other times since their ugly Week 15 battle, but Norman didn't take the bait. This time he did:

If Beckham was referring to Norman, his premise is only somewhat accurate. Norman's star was rising rapidly before the two met in December, but it's also true that game – and all the talk after it – elevated Norman to a whole other level.

That realization hit me during Super Bowl week in San Francisco when a CBS Radio producer, who's also a huge Giants fan, was adamant the Panthers had become the most hated NFL team in New York. Yes, even more so than any of the Giants' NFL East rivals.

For years, Carolina coach Ron Rivera hoped his team – and players – would become relevant. An MVP quarterback and a 14-0 start certainly helped. So did the Norman vs. Beckham fallout.

Any publicity is good publicity ... right?
