Carolina Panthers News and Coverage for the Digital Age

Kelvin Benjamin, Paul Soliai and Graham Gano Back at Work

Because of NFL regulations, there has been some confusion since the Carolina Panthers kicked off OTAs on Tuesday. Teams are required to make only three of the 10 sessions open to outside media. So to answer some questions that have come in - yes, the Panthers did also practice Wednesday and Thursday.

Per the team website, receiver Kelvin Benjamin returned on Thursday and was limited to individual drills, as planned. It was his first organized practice since he tore his ACL last August.

Benjamin, along with defensive tackle Paul Soliai and kicker Graham Gano, missed Tuesday's practice to take care of family matters. Soliai and Gano each returned on Wednesday.

These practices are "voluntary," but all 90 Panthers have now been on the field for at least one session this week. That includes quarterback Cam Newton, who managed to fit in a visit to the White House.

The Panthers will next be on the field Tuesday, a practice that is open to the media.
