  • Each guy who started on the offensive line played every snap. So at least there’s that.
  • David Foucault is certainly getting experience. He’s played 116 snaps the last three weeks.
  • Greg Olsen again played each snap, but he was again quiet in the passing game as he was needed to help in protection.
  • DeAngelo Williams started, but Jonathan Stewart saw 13 more plays. They each should have gotten more than eight carries apiece.

  • The defense was on the field for a long time. 76 snaps were their second-highest total of the season, trailing only the 81 they played during the overtime tie in Cincinnati.
  • Josh Norman has solidified his role as a starter. Now it’s a question of who will start between Antoine Cason and Melvin White going forward. White, who played zero defensive snaps against the Seahawks, ended up playing two more than Cason after he was benched Thursday night.
  • 58 snaps for Star Lotulelei were a career high.
  • Kawann Short, who was limited during the week with an ankle injury, started but played a season-low 25 snaps.
  • Rookie Tre Boston had combined for 27 defensive snaps before he played 57 in place of the injured Thomas DeCoud. Boston was eventually replaced by Robert Lester.
  • The Panthers hinted Kony Ealy would see increased playing time, and he did. His 31 snaps were the most of his rookie season.
  • Colin Jones, who picked up his first career sack, played more than he ever has on defense. He was in at nickel for 29 snaps while James Dockery had 23.
