SATURDAY’S SIX-PACK
Six days after receiver Kelvin Benjamin bruised his knee, the rookie proved his subsequent missed practices were much ado about nothing.
“I never had a problem with my knee other than when I hit that ground (during last Sunday’s practice) and it swelled up the next day,” Benjamin said after returning to the field Saturday. “The next day after that, it was great.”
Benjamin, who’s looked very much the part of a first-round pick in nearly every practice since May’s draft, picked up right where he left off. He was again the most-dominant offensive player not named Cam Newton.
