Jonathan Stewart Sits Out Again, Kurt Coleman Returns

THURSDAY PRACTICE REPORTS

CAROLINA PANTHERS

Did not practice

RB Jonathan Stewart (foot): It's looking like Stewart's return will have to wait for the playoffs. "I'm not as optimistic as I was yesterday," coach Ron Rivera said. Brandon Wegher will be up if Stewart is again down.

WR Ted Ginn (knee): It's somewhat worrisome Ginn has sat out two practices this week, but Rivera said he has no concerns about his speedster's status for Sunday.

LB Thomas Davis (illness): Hit by bug going around. He'll play.

RB Fozzy Whittaker (ankle): Out at least this week.

LIMITED

S Kurt Coleman (foot): Got in a good amount of work after the Panthers kept him inside Wednesday. Coleman said he's "excited" about how his foot is progressing, and considering he's missed just eight of a possible 1,025 snaps this year, it'd be a surprise if he doesn't play.

FULL

C Ryan Kalil (illness): Still under the weather, but he'll play.

LB David Mayo (hamstring): Inching closer to a return after missing the past two games.
