Panthers Will Wear Blue Jerseys Twice in 2016

We interrupt training camp coverage for breaking uniform news.

The Carolina Panthers on Tuesday released their 2016 jersey schedule:

White earns the most appearances with eight. Black gets six, while blue comes out twice. The Panthers will be in the 'color rush' uniforms they debuted last year in Dallas for their Thursday Night home game against the Saints. In Week 5, they'll break out the alternate blue jerseys for Monday Night Football with the Bucs.

And, no, there are no current plans to bring back the all-black set.

    1. Speak for yourself… yuck. I much prefer the blues to the blacks (silver bottoms or black bottoms). But ultimately I don’t care as long as they don’t go burnt umber or some other variant of orange.
