Chris Ogbonnaya bounced on and off the roster twice and played just five games with the Panthers last season, but that was enough time to pull a pretty good prank on Cam Newton.In a video posted by TMZ Sports Saturday morning, Ogbonnaya explains how the Carolina running backs convinced Newton that Ogbonnaya was from Africa. He does have a Nigerian background, but he was born and raised in Houston.At 1:22 of the video below, Ogbonnaya shares a sample of the accent he used to trick Newton, who apparently still has no idea his former teammate is really just a native Texan.
