Coach Ron Rivera said multiple times Tuesday the Carolina Panthers wanted to turn the page to 2016.

That process continued in the afternoon with a handful of transactions when the Panthers signed these eight players from their practice squad to futures contracts:

–DT Chas Alecxih

–DB Marcus Ball

–LB Brian Blechen

–WR Damiere Byrd

–DE Rakim Cox

–C Reese Dismukes

–DB Ras-I Dowling

–OT David Foucault

DE Wes Horton and TE Nate Askew were the only guys who finished the season on the practice squad not signed to futures contracts.

The Panthers previously signed seven others to such deals before Tuesday, including OT Donald Hawkins.
