- set a career low with two rushes. He’s had just six carries in two games after averaging 7.58 carries per game during his first three seasons.
- is 3-14 when attempting at least 35 passes (2-3 under offensive coordinator Mike Shula, 1-11 under former offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski).
- had his fifth-highest passer rating in a game the Panthers lost (98.5).
- WR Kelvin Benjamin: set career highs with eight receptions and 115 yards. His 35-yard touchdown was also the longest catch of his career. Benjamin hadn’t lost a game since Florida beat Florida State on 11/24/12.
- WR Philly Brown had the first receptions of his career, finishing with seven catches for 66 yards.
- TE Greg Olsen had a 37-yard touchdown, his longest reception since he had a 47-yarder during a loss to the Chiefs on 12/2/12.

- QB Ben Roethlisberger is 3-0 in his career against the Panthers, with 641 passing yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions.
- RB Le’Veon Bell rushed for a career-high 147 yards.
- Bell and RB LeGarrette Blount (118) are the first Steelers duo to rush for 100 yards in the same game since Earnest Jackson and Walter Abercrombie combined for 241 yards on 10/26/86.
- WR Antonio Brown extended his streak with at least five catches and 50 receiving yards to 19 straight games. He caught all 10 of his targets, with Roethlisberger completed 12 of his 19 other targets. His 10 receptions were the second-most of his five-year career.
