QUARTERBACKS

Newton played all but 2.4 percent of the Panthers' offensive snaps; Webb is still listed as a QB, but he was at WR for 18 of his 19 offensive snaps.

RUNNING BACKS

Jonathan Stewart — 718

Mike Tolbert — 520

Fozzy Whittaker — 181

Cameron Artis-Payne — 122

Brandon Wegher — 2

Stewart totaled just 40 fewer snaps than he played from 2013-14, combined; 74 percent of Artis-Payne's playing time came when Stewart was out the final three weeks of the regular season.

Philly Brown — 884

Ted Ginn — 813

Devin Funchess — 587

Jerricho Cotchery — 528

Brenton Bersin — 99

Kevin Norwood — 13

Brown saw 524 more snaps than he played as a rookie, finishing with 15 more receptions and three more touchdowns; Ginn's expanded role in his second go-around in Carolina equaled 278 more snaps; Cotchery played 380 fewer snaps than his first season with the Panthers, but he had two more touchdowns and just eight fewer receptions.

TIGHT ENDS

Greg Olsen — 1,263

Ed Dickson — 707

Scott Simonson — 33

Brandon Williams — 6

Richie Brockel — 3

Olsen played 96 percent of the possible snaps and accounted for 26.6 percent of Newton's completions; Dickson averaged one catch every 37.2 snaps.

OFFENSIVE LINE

OT Mike Remmers — 1,315

OT Michael Oher — 1,297

G Trai Turner — 1,287

G Andrew Norwell — 1,006

G Amini Silatolu — 238

OL Fernando Velasco — 114

OL Chris Scott — 109

OT Daryl Williams — 83

Remmers is the only Panther who didn't miss a single snap; a year after finishing his brief stay with the Titans on IR, Oher was in for 98.6 percent of the plays in Carolina; the majority of Williams' limited snaps came from the jumbo package.

Thanks for these, Bill. Are you also going to do a Special Teams snap count? It would be interesting to see those totals as well as we think about roster building for 2016.
