Greg Olsen's summer of fun made its latest stop for a good cause.
The Carolina Panthers' tight end was at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut on Thursday for a Barrett-Jackson auction of his 1969 Chevrolet Camaro. The custom convertible netted $100,000 with all proceeds going to Olsen's Receptions for Research benefitting The HEARTest Yard.
The winning bid came via collector and NASCAR owner Rick Hendrick.
Last year, Olsen teamed with Hendrick driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. in a raffle that raised funds for Levine Children's Hospital.
