Unfortunately, Panthers players won’t be available this week due to their Thanksgiving Day matchup with the Cowboys. With that in mind, we’ve created a list of sleepers or high-value players from around the league who should get you a positive return.
Week 12 Fantasy Football Picks
Brian Hoyer - QB, Houston Texans [FantasyDraft Salary = $10,000]
Hoyer was cleared of his concussion on Monday, giving him more than enough time to prepare for his week 12 matchup against the Saints. New Orleans has been destroyed through the air this season, giving up 28 touchdowns to opposing passers while only registering four interceptions.
Both Hoyer and WR DeAndre Hopkins are in line for monster games.
Josh McCown - QB, Cleveland Browns [FantasyDraft Salary = $10,000]
The Browns are a mess. After video of QB Johnny Manziel in a nightclub during his bye week emerged, coach Mike Pettine yanked the starting gig from Manziel and gave it back to McCown. Good news for McCown - he’s facing a Ravens defense that's giving up and average of 273 passing yards and two touchdowns per game to opposing QBs.
Baltimore has held opposing teams to under 20 points only twice this season while a McCown-led Browns offense has only scored under 20 points once.
Javorius Allen - RB, Baltimore Ravens [FantasyDraft Salary = $9,100]
With RB Justin Forsett out the rest of the season, the bulk of carries will go to Allen. He gained over 100 total yards from scrimmage last week and faces a Browns' defense that's allowed the most rushing yards to opposing running backs.
T.J. Yeldon - RB, Jacksonville Jaguars [FantasyDraft Salary = $9,500]
Despite being the workhorse back in Jacksonville, Yeldon has only rushed for 100 yards twice the season. But he has a strong Week 12 matchup against a porous Chargers' rushing offense. San Diego is much more stout against opposing WRs, so it’s possible that Jacksonville relies on Yeldon early and often to set the pace.
Jordan Reed - TE, Washington Redskins [FantasyDraft Salary = $9,700]
Reed faces a Giants' defense that's currently second-worst in the league against opposing TEs. Reed is hardly a sleeper, as he’s had a very solid fantasy season when not injured, but he's in line for an above-average game.
Crockett Gillmore - TE, Baltimore Ravens [FantasyDraft Salary = $7,300]
Gillmore has seen an uptick in his production lately, pulling down either a touchdown or 100 receiving yards in his past three games. Gillmore will be facing a Browns 'defense that's below average against opposing TEs.
Reuben Randle - WR, New York Giants [FantasyDraft Salary = $7,400]
Randle is not a splashy pick, but he has recorded either 50 receiving yards or a touchdown in six games this season. With a friendly matchup against a Redskins' defense that’s allowed 15 passing touchdowns, and with Odell Beckham Jr. on the other side of the field, Randle should find some room against Washington. This pick is touchdown-dependent, but we feel good about Randle’s chances of finding the end zone.
