  • Jonathan Stewart had never played 60 snaps, until Sunday.

  • 47 snaps were a season low for the defense.
  • Thomas Davis, who hyperextended his knee last week, was in for every defensive play. But his two tackles were his fewest since he was a rookie.
  • For the third straight week, Tre Boston was in the whole way at free safety.
  • For the second straight week, the Panthers played more base defense than they usually do. Adarius Glanton, who filled in for an injured A.J. Klein, saw 27 plays. Colin Jones was in for 20 when the Panthers went to their nickel/Buffalo package. Nickel will regain its importance this week against the Falcons.
  • Mario Addison played his fewest snaps since Week 1, but it’s not like Wes Horton and Kony Ealy were in a lot longer. It will be interesting to see what happens when the Panthers give Frank Alexander a look this week.
