GANO’S REACTION
According to Panthers.com:”Ideally, I would have liked to have left it where it was, and I’ve talked to a lot of special teams coaches that agree. If it’s not broke, don’t fix it – they’re not trying to change things for quarterbacks because their passing ratings are too high.”With a longer kick, there will be a bigger emphasis on trying to block it. Every point matters, but it’s going to matter even more now. I’m sure you’ll see more coaches going for two. But as far as I’m concerned, it’s just another kick. That’s how I’m going to treat it.”
Should have changed the extra point to a 50 yard field goal. That would have been more interesting 😎.
