The veteran wideout was able to slip past Norman and haul in the pass for a touchdown.”I think it’s an example of [Newton] growing and elevating his game,” Norman said. “The first time, I was this close to it, he threw it a little bit behind him, but I caught up to it and almost had it. The second time, I think he just had it in his head that ‘I’m gonna sling this thing out there.’ He came off and rolled out and threw it out there. I thought I had a bead on it, but nah. He put it in perfect position.

“Sometimes it happens in this league. Quarterbacks make perfect plays, they bounce back and forget about what they did that first time, and make a play. He’s a Pro Bowler, he’s our quarterback and captain, and I didn’t expect anything less.”I know I’m gonna get ragged by Cam. He told me about it, but it’s cool, it happens, and we live with it.
