When Jerry Richardson was awarded the Panthers, he wanted his team to represent both North and South Carolina. And while Charlotte is the headquarters, Spartanburg is a base.Ahead of the Panthers’ 20th training camp in the South Carolina city, Richardson was honored Monday night with a statue at Wofford College.
