Panthers’ Prospect? LSU OT La’El Collins

Throughout the week, BBR will be posting short capsules on some of the most intriguing prospects — from a Panthers’ perspective — at the Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.

La’El Collins, OT, LSU, 6-5, 308[gap size=”10px”]

Collins played on LSU’s offensive line with Panthers guard Trai Turner for two seasons. He could be off the board before Carolina has a chance to grab him at No. 25. The Panthers are one of at least 22 teams that have combine interviews set up with Collins.

Projected Round: 1Biggest Concerns: May not have the athleticism to play left tackle in the NFL; could be a better fit at right tackle or inside at guard.Quote to Note: “I definitely love being out there on an island. I don’t have any preference. I can play wherever. Left or right, it doesn’t matter to me. I love the one-on-one matchups and having my way with the guy the whole night.”Collins Clippings:
