Throughout the week, BBR will be posting short capsules on some of the most intriguing prospects — from a Panthers’ perspective — at the Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.
Phillip Dorsett, WR, Miami (FL), 5-10, 185[gap size=”10px”]
Dorsett, who reportedly blazed to a Miami all-time best 4.21 seconds in the 40-yard dash last summer, could be the fastest player in the draft. A guy who can certainly take the top of defenses, he averaged 24.2 yards per catch in 2014 and scored on 10 of his 36 receptions.
Projected Round: 2-3Biggest Concerns: Suspect hands; sloppy route runner; production often didn’t match talent in college.Quote to Note: “Santana Moss, that’s one of my all-time favorites. Guys like Antonio Brown, DeSean Jackson, T.Y. Hilton. Guys like that, similar size, but maximized skill set that can do everything.” — Dorsett, when asked which NFL players he’d compare himself to.Dorsett Clippings:
