The Carolina Panthers are signing tight end Scot Simonsom to a one-year contract, according to Aaron Wilson of The Baltimore Sun.Simonson, who’s 6-foot-5, 249 pounds, spent most of 2014 on the Raiders’ practice squad before Oakland activated him for the final four games of the season. He did not have a reception while playing 21 snaps.
