Carolina Panthers Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Start Cam Newton Against Washington

Newton has been a consistent fantasy QB all season and we see no reason that will end this weekend against the Redskins. He’s tied for the 4th highest QB salary on FantasyDraft [$13,000] but he could easily outplay Matt Ryan and Aaron Rodgers, who are more expensive.

Jonathan Stewart Again a Great Value

We’re shocked Stewart is the 22nd most expensive running back. His season stats put him in the top 15 and he’s trending upward. The Redskins defense’ is OK, but with a $8,800 price tag, Stewart is a great value.

Greg Olsen has been #2 TE all season, and is a bargain compared to Gronk.

We’ve been saving money all season with TEs priced lower than New England’s Rob Gronkowski. It’s sometimes hit-and-miss, but Olsen has not had many letdown games.

While somewhat pricey, Olsen’s $11,600 salary looks cheap compared to Gronkowski’s $14,600. This week, Olsen is a safe play and should be good for TD.

Panthers’ Defense

Carolina is the 6th-most expensive defense this week. The Redskins did put up big numbers last week against the Saints, but the same was true for the Titans and we saw how much they scored last Sunday. The Panthers’ defense is not whatever the Saints have been putting out there.

Redskins’ Offense

Last week, we tried to pick a sleeper against Carolina. Oops. This week, we’re avoiding all Redskins’ offensive players.

Fantasy Sleepers Around the League

Chargers WR Stevie Johnson [FantasyDraft Salary – $7,700]

Philip Rivers is going to throw for over 300 yds this week against the Chiefs and Johnson is the safest bet for most targets.

Patriots WR Danny Amendola [FantasyDraft Salary – $7,800]

With Julian Edelman and Dion Lewis out, Amendola will take over the short passing game for the Patriots.

Chiefs RB Charcandrick West [FantasyDraft Salary – $8,800]

San Diego’s defense hasn’t been good against the run and we expect West to have one of his best games yet.

Lions TE Eric Ebron [Fantasy Draft Salary – $7,000]

Ebron against the Raiders could be the safest play for a TE sleeper pick.

Eagles QB Mark Sanchez [FantasyDraft Salary – $10,000]

What if the only thing holding back the high-powered Eagles’ offense was Sam Bradford?
