Bets between politicians?

Team-themes anthems by professional and amateur artists?

An inter-city competition between rabbis?
Nope.
Until now.
Charlotte's Temple Beth El and Denver's Temple Emanuel have entered into a friendly wager that includes hype videos from their respective rabbis.
Hold on, I have to type that again because it's too great – yes, rabbi hype videos.
First up in the "Super Mitzvah," here's Rabbi Judith Schindler repping the Panthers via "JewTuBE":
Now, from Denver, it's Rabbi Joe Black's presentation, courtesy "Omaha! Omaha! Productions":
The rabbis are talking trash for a good cause. They've set up a Fundly page, which, as of Monday morning, has raised about $2,500. 100 percent of the final proceeds will go toward children's charities in each town, with the winning side getting two-thirds of the total.
So, for example, if Cam Newton passes over the Broncos' defense, Temple Beth El wins.
Thank you, I'll be here all week.
