Thievery Travels to the Super Bowl

Before the Carolina Panthers went to Tennessee in mid-November, defensive line coach Eric Washington told the secondary "thievery travels."

That it does ... all the way to California.

When the Panthers arrived Sunday in San Jose, equipment manager Matt Worswick walked off the plane with the Thievery Ave. sign that had been hanging above the secondary's section of the locker room the past couple weeks:

It's unclear what the Panthers plan to do with it while on the West Coast, but it'll likely find a spot at San Jose State during this week's practices, with a final destination planned for the Levi's Stadium locker room ahead of Sunday's Super Bowl.
