THE PANTHERS:
- Are the eighth team to start 1-3 or worse following a Super Bowl appearance since 1990. Of the seven previous teams, only the 1996 Cowboys made the playoffs.
- Lost two straight regular-season games for the first time since Weeks 11 (vs. Falcons) and 13 (at Vikings) of the 2014 season.
- Fell to 34-4-1 since the start of 2013 when they’ve scored at least 20 points.
- Allowed seven completions of 20-plus yards. They allowed a total of six 20-plus yard completions in their first three games.
- Allowed 10 plays of 19-plus yards. In Week Three, the Vikings’ biggest play was just 19 yards.
- Have allowed opposing QBs to go 42-of-54 for 648 yards and five touchdowns in their last six quarters.
- Allowed Matt Ryan to throw for 503 yards, the most an opposing QB has ever racked up against Carolina. Ryan broke a record previously held by Rams QB Trent Green (431 on 11/5/00).

- Allowed 300 receiving yards to WR Julio Jones, the most an opposing WR has ever racked up against Carolina. Jones broke a record previously held by Washington’s Rod Gardner (208 on 10/21/01).
- Allowed 571 total yards, the second-most in franchise history (617 at NO on 1/1/12).
- Allowed 48 points, tied for the fourth-most in franchise history.
- Rushed for just 49 yards, the first time in 31 games they hadn’t hit at least 100 yards. The last time Carolina failed to hit the century mark was on 10/5/14 against the Bears.
- Had their fewest rushing attempts (15) since they ran 10 times in a loss to the Steelers on 9/21/14.
- Went 17 drives without scoring an offensive touchdown before QB Cam Newton hit WR Kelvin Benjamin for a 6-yard score early in the fourth quarter.
THE FALCONS:
- Set a franchise record with 571 total yards.
- Have scored 45-plus points in back-to-back games for the first time in franchise history.
