Stats and Superlatives: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly of Week Three

THE PANTHERS:

 

  • Lost for the first time in 15 home games and 679 days. Carolina last lost at Bank of America Stadium on 11/16/14 (ATL, 19-17).

 

  • Scored their fewest points (10) in a regular-season game since a 28-10 loss to the Saints on 10/30/14.

 

  • Gained 115 yards on their first 2 drives and 191 yards on their final 10 drives.

 

  • Were shut out in the second half of a regular-season game for the first time since a 22-6 loss to the Cardinals on 10/6/13.

 

  • Were shut out for the final three quarters of a regular-season for the first time since a 34-3 loss to the Saints on 11/7/10.
