- Allowed four pass plays of 20-plus yards after giving up eight such plays in their past four games.
- Went 3-for-9 on third down, earning their fewest conversions since they went 3-for-11 in Week 6.
- Allowed the Raiders to go 8-for-15 on third down. The Panthers hadn’t allowed any of their past four opponents to convert more than four third downs.
- Allowed an opposing QB to reach at least a 90 QB rating for the seventh time this season. They allowed a 90-plus QB rating just four times in 19 games last year.

- Snapped a two-game losing streak in the overall series, which is now tied, 3-3.
- Are 9-2 for the first time since 2000.

- Are guaranteed their first winning season since 2002.

- QB Cam Newton
- Passed Peyton Manning (176) for the second-most combined touchdowns in a player’s first six seasons. Dan Marino tops the list with 199 touchdowns.
- Passed Matt Ryan (24,027) for the second-most combined passing and rushing yards in a player’s first six seasons. Manning tops the list with 25,467 yards.
- Scored his fifth rushing touchdown of the season to become the only player in the NFL with five or more rushing scores in each of the past six years.
- Set career lows with 18 passing yards and a 1.7 QB rating in the first half.
- RB Jonathan Stewart
- Had a season-high 47-yard rush. In Stewart’s previous three games, he rushed for just 42 (Rams), 39 (Chiefs) and 31 (Saints) yards.
- Scored two touchdowns to up his season total to seven, the second-most of his career (10, 2008 and 2009).
- WR Ted Ginn Jr. had a career-long 88-yard touchdown reception.
- WR Kelvin Benjamin scored his first touchdown since Week 4.

- QB Derek Carr
- Recorded his fifth fourth-quarter comeback of the season.
- Is now averaging 100.8 yards in the fourth quarter with 10 touchdowns and one interception.
- Went 3-1 against the NFC South, averaging 361.5 yards per game with 10 touchdowns and one interception.
- WR Amari Cooper had a season-low 22 yards.
- OLB Bruce Irvin recorded his eighth sack against Newton in their sixth career meeting.
- DE Khalil Mack
- Became the first player with an interception, sack, forced fumble, fumble recovery and touchdown since Charles Woodson in 2009.
- Picked off his first career pass and scored the first touchdown of his career.
- Recorded a sack for the sixth straight game.
