I put everything I could into making it back for this game but, I came up short. I'll be back next week better then ever. #KeepPounding

Despite his limited participation in practice on Thursday and Friday, Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis is inactive for Sunday’s game against the Ravens. Davis has been struggling with a hip injury, and he pulled his hamstring in the fourth quarter of last week’s loss to the Steelers. A.J. Klein and Chase Blackburn will split snaps in Davis’s place.
As expected, running back Jonathan Stewart is being held out with a sprained knee. DeAngelo Williams, Darrin Reaves and Tauren Poole are the team’s only active backs.
Also inactive for the Panthers against the Ravens: quarterback Joe Webb, safety Tre Boston, running back Fozzy Whittaker, guard Andrew Norwell, and tight end Brandon Williams.
