Carolina Panthers general manager Dave Gettleman spent about 13 minutes talking to the media from one of the podiums at the NFL Combine Thursday afternoon, and then another 10 minutes with a smaller group on the side. Here are 10 of his most meaningful quotes, followed by my translations of each.

    Everyone knows Hardy is a great talent. He’s also a self absorbed narcissist with a propensity for uber wreckless behavior. Kony has shown flashes, maybe he takes a step forward in 2015. Regardless, I’m confident Gettleman will find players in the draft and free agency that will help us upgrade our positions of need.
