Despite a disappointing season that included a suspension, the Carolina Panthers are bringing back defensive end Wes Horton, according to him:
Just signed a 1 year deal with the Panthers. No way i could walk away from an organization as special as this. Back to Cali for now 😎

Horton, who started 15 games during Greg Hardy's suspension in 2014, was dinged four games the past season for violating the league's substance abuse policy. After he was reinstated in late December, he declined to say which banned substance he had taken.
In eight games, Horton had seven tackles and a sack, upping his three-year total to 41 tackles and six sacks. He finished the season on the Panthers' practice squad.
