Interesting that the Panthers could avenge all but one of their playoff losses in the current postseason.
A win against Arizona on Saturday would banish the memory of 2008’s implosion and take the Panthers to Seattle. A win there to counterbalance 2005’s defeat could lead to a rematch of 1996’s NFC Championship game against the Packers at Lambeau. A win there, and the second Panthers Super Bowl trip could well feature the same opponent as last time. In the end, the first Super Bowl title in Panthers history could be the culmination of one of the sweetest playoff runs in NFL history. A nice little daydream as the playoff season begins.
