Deadspin Releases Greg Hardy Bombshell, Nicole Holder Pictures

When former Carolina Panthers defensive end Greg Hardy was found guilty by judge Rebecca Tin in July 2014, the first explanation she mentioned in her ruling was the evidence filed by the prosecution. That evidence included photos of Nicole Holder after Hardy allegedly threatened her life and left her bruised and battered.

Those photos remained sealed until the NFL reached an agreement with the Mecklenburg County District Attorney’s office to look at seven of those photos. But now, everyone can see what happened.

Deadspin on Friday posted a bombshell piece that included 48 pictures of both Holder and Hardy. The gallery of photos comes with a warning about their graphic nature, so the decision to click is up to you.

There is still a sizable segment of the Panthers fanbase that supports Hardy and believes nothing happened that night. Perhaps this will now help them realize that this wasn't just about money.

Well it was more about money than justice by the results of the case, so there’s that also. The big dummy isn’t on the team anymore though, let him be Jerry Jones’ headache now, it’s already showing he didn’t learn anything. You can have all the talent in the world and still be a world class idiot (see Rae Carruth).

Why is it assumed she approached him about a settlement? Hardy knew a conviction could derail his career, and that she could sue him in civil court regardless of the criminal case outcome. Both parties stood to gain from a settlement, and Hardy had far more at risk than Holder and gained much more.

It was about money Greg will make a ton now because he settled with Holder.

All I was saying is one could assume justice wasn’t a priority to her. He could have went to jail and she could have still had a civil suit against him. Has happened on numerous occasions. My opinion that I’m entitled to.
