One of the key aspects of Black and Blue Review is it’s not a fan site. There are already a handful of good spots on the Internet where you can find content written by fans, and our goal has never been to compete with those sites.

But going back to a couple experimental posts last year, when Panthers fans wrote about their experiences watching games in London and Shanghai, I’ve long wanted to incorporate some sort of user-generated content. Roaring Riot is going to do just that.

BBR has partnered with the burgeoning Panthers fan club for what should be a couple entertaining posts per week.

Ahead of each game, a Roaring Riot member will do a preview, of sorts. It may be about the upcoming tailgate, or it could be a comparison of Charlotte vs. (fill in the blank). Whatever it is, it’ll hopefully give you a break from my stuffy writing.

Then, a day or two after games, we’ll get a recap from Roaring Riot. Again, content for those is fluid.
