Panthers defensive end Charles Johnson and tight end Ed Dickson are both active for Sunday’s game against the Bears.

Johnson, who did not practice Wednesday and Thursday, was questionable with a hip flexor.

Dickson is also dealing with a hip flexor. Head coach Ron Rivera on Friday called Dickson the Panthers’ only game-time decision, but he looked good catching passes in pregame. He’ll split a hybrid fullback/tight end role with Chicago native Brandon Williams, who is active for just the third time this season.

With running backs DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart both out, undrafted rookie Darrin Reaves will get his first NFL start.
