L ed by team president Danny Morrison, the Panthers resurrected an old idea this offseason. It turned out to be a good idea.
The Panthers Road Show, which had been dormant since 2005, made two stops. The first was in Greensboro, where approximately 7,000 fans showed up earlier this month.
Friday night, a solid number of folks dodged raindrops in Columbia. Among the highlights — linebacker Thomas Davis, who was joined by defensive tackle Colin Cole and cornerback Josh Norman, told the crowd he believes the Panthers defense will be better than it was in 2013.
The return of the Road Show was such a success, it sounds like it will be back again next offseason. Two new cities will be chosen, letting more fans get closer to the Carolina’s NFL team.
